Tom Herman, "AKA" The Savior to some... But, According to ex OSU coach and co-worker Zach Smith. Herman is a bit of a "S___STAIN!" Dodged a bullet? Maybe... But I'll take a Winning ShrimpBoat Captain any day over a -Losing Poo-bag. (That title coming from someone that actually knows Herman). Take it for what it's worth ,and maybe enjoy the season. But on the other hand maybe the longhorn savior will come a little cheaper if he keeps losing... What do you think?

Is it really that difficult to defend Eaux that you have to drag Tom Herman into this? Why can't you just defend Eaux on his own performance and hires?

You just violated rule one " Don't shoot the messenger " ... I deduct 5 points for using the common somewhat political tactic of,Not disputing the facts, but attacking the person you disagree with in order to cloud the issue. But you MAY proceed with any further commentary pertaining to the discussion, and make it more interesting!

Again, defend Eaux's hire of Ensminger as offensive coordinator and the results we've seen. Tom has nothing to do with LSU football. TIA

Not that I disagree, but people's personal life and attitude and their coaching abilities are 2 separate animals.

We have had a great guy but meh coaching abilities.
Bama has a great coach but a meh dude.

CEO seems to fit nicely into the first category. Hopefully he proves me wrong and makes some change in a couple of coaches at the end of the year and prove that he is able to be a real great coach. He should be able to change with the times, better utilize the abundant talent he is sitting on, go get the personnel he needs for upgrades where needed.

I would take the biggest arse hole in the coaching arena as long as he can solve the mystery that is LSU's offense and beat bama consistently.

Tom Herman can coach offensive laps around 0 and SE. It’s ok to admit that.

My point is some of us are using our judgement, you don't just fire workers until you know what you have. I have had people I wanted to fire the first week turn out to be the most amazing people in their positions. I have also fired quickly, and
in turn hired the most SHINY new thing in an interview, one that checked all the trendy boxes. And regretted it to the bottom of m toes! Point: "O" is doing a better basic job than anyone else could have perhaps, while winning, people can't let judgement be clouded so obviously,,, the way some talk, we are going 6 - 6 with no Bowl in sight! Jesus! I feel like I'm dealing with my Sister's kids in here. (like the O... A less popular quote, I also love) Go Tigers!

So what you're saying is that you routinely make poor personnel decisions but we should listen to what you have to say?

You can't, or at least you shouldn't establish one coach's value by comparing him to another.

I agree with some of the posted points... Except "Powerdude", who obviously has never had to make Any tough decisions that go along with success and responsibility,,,, just saying' Make a tough decision, support it, and don't turn on your team at the first sign of adversity, like an emotional 16 year old girl. That gentlemen, IS my point. If you are truly looking into it anyway, Just an observation on one aspect of the college coaching scene. Not a "Zero Sum" complete breakdown of the complex coaching job at LSU, Thanks and Love you guys (want to ?? kiss you on your trendy little cheek! Haha)

I've had to make a number of those decisions and I'm pretty good at it

My point is that you don't really have a point here

Some random dude you know says Tom Herman might be an a-hole and why does that matter to LSU sports? This is just nonsense and trying to run interference.

That's actually what YOU did.
You can't praise O, so you sling mud about Hermann to somehow make O look good. Very common political advertising technique.

Don’t forget, Orgeron has a history of alcoholism and beating women too
