Huh? Tom Brady? Nuss has hardly been touched so why scramble if you don't have to. However I will say he should have kept the ball a couple of times on read options against USC. BTW he can scramble if needed.

Had a player lead the nation for rushing for a QB and we still didn’t make it to the promise land! He’s good enough. Just need help everywhere else

Are you saying that teams without running QBs lost over 50% of their games?

Take a look at the last 5 years of national championship winning QBs. You might want to revise your numbers.

You know jack shite about what Nuss can do if you cannot see he has ability to move or run.

So I guess Michigan’s Qb last year was not a stay in the pocket passer. They won the championship last year. What about Georgia? I guess they don’t have pocket passers. Wow

Of all the things to complain about....after TWO GAMES...Nussmeier is well down the list. Outside of Dart, who has played the equivalent of two junior high opponents, Nussmeier is leading the SEC in most major passing categories. In fact, he's probably been the only really good part of the team thus far.

Through 3 starts:

88/121 (72.7%)
1005 yards
11 TDs
2 INTs (1 was BS)
2 carries for 13 yards
ZERO SACKS

Good mobility as a QB does not mean being able to run a 4.5 40 yard dash and having tons of yards scrambling. It means you are able to use your footwork to avoid pressure and keep plays alive. What's the difference between a 15 yard scramble from Jayden and Nuss avoiding pressure in the pocket and completing a 15 yard pass to Lacy?

Agree, he is good but not elite like Burrow and Daniels. He is to hyper also which tends to mean interceptions. I bet he throws 2 this weekend.

On its face, the fact that he hasn't been sacked is a positive, so far. But it also means that Nussmeier is gonna fling it, even when he's under pressure and back pedaling. He's done it several times, and it's worked out well so far.

South Carolina's pass rush is gonna have him on his heels some this Saturday. Will he take a sack, or will he still try to make a play, even when he should just eat the ball and move on to the next play? We'll see.

So he's not as good as 2 Heisman winners. One of which wasn't a running QB. Profound stuff right here. Our fans think less than Heisman caliber is now unacceptable. But yall get offended when people say you are a dumbass.

This is such bullshite

He’s as fast as if not faster than Joe Burrow. You do not have to run a 4.4 to scramble.

Tom Brady?

Nuss is 10x the runner that Tom Brady is.

People are just saying this because he’s a white guy and we just saw Jayden Daniels last year. Nuss is easily as fast if not faster than Burrow. He just can’t see the holes as well. Nuss has the ability to save countless drives.
