I disagree. Playing through pain and injury enhances NFL draft stock. The NFL knows he has the arm talent. Managing games is on display. And Nuss is actually doing a good job given the circumstances. We need the O Line to gel so we can run the ball and give Nuss help. Until he heals, it’s all short and intermediate passing which helps the defense.

He is NOT hurt. Offense is just horrible. All falls on Kelly

Its easy to see in his mid range throws of around 20 yards. He just can’t spin it and throw a dart to a WR.

He did it multiple times vs ole miss. You wonder why OP left those out

He’s definitely soft. Remember watching JD5 against Mizzou or Joey B against UCF

Nuss is definitely soft and plays scared. He is still hurt. He is pulling up on most of his passes.

And he is also a knucklehead. But one thing he can do is sling the rock.

I don't think it necessary to see distress on every throw to prove there is distress on many throws.

I think the biggest piece of evidence against him being injured (besides the high fastballs to Aaron anderson) is the fact that he is tanking his draft status and still playing.

Any qb worth their salt will try to play. The nfl is smart enough to figure out if he is playing hurt. Plus the coach will tell the scouts after the yr.

Omg I’m so sick of hearing about this

If he can’t play then sit him. Unless MVB is that bad. Why are they still forcing him or why is he forcing himself? If the a strain is causing him to be this bad, I have a hard time believing the back up is worse. Maybe he is idk.

I don’t think you can simply label it distress because he has under thrown deep balls & bad footwork on some plays, when he has always under thrown deep balls & has had volatile footwork

Every time Nuss gets hit he always acts like he’s hurt ever since he’s been at LSU.
OMG I've noticed this too. He has never gotten up from a sack without limping, Thie goes back to when Jayden was here. To his credit, he always stays in, but he's either a drama queen or fragile AF.

Nuss won’t allow himself to become Miles Brennan. That’s why he denies the injury.

He sits and gets healthy and the backup balls out, there will become an issue and he could lose his job.

His senior year….at that point, what NFL team would fool with him?

He’s aware and won’t allow this to happen, which is why he will not sit and get healthy.

Meanwhile, the team suffers.

He’s not going to have a choice if play like this continues.

How is it wrong ?

If he was hurt he would have sat out the cupcake games. Something else is going on

Your premise that he would sit out is based on what? We don’t know what is happening inside the program and can’t assume what we don’t know.

Lester, Todd McShay reported this year from the Manning Passing academy. On his podcast McShay stated that Nuss had the best arm talent and accuracy on deep balls of all the top college QBs. He specifically referenced a competition among the college QBs and cited how good Nuss looked comparatively. This is not the same Nuss that McShay reported on this Summer. Don’t let personal opinions or prejudices get in the way of actuals. McShay’s analysis is quite the opposite of yours and I’m going with him. He doesn’t have a dog in the fight like you do.
