I saw that and thought the same thing.

Not much of what happened is Nuss' fault, it's our shitty coaching staff that refuses to put him in a position for success
It’s a little of both feeding off of one another. First off, Nussmeier’s strength and our strength is to find a run game that involves the QB with it, at least 50% of the time. Wildcat, Zone read, RPO, Draw plays and option run plays to the outside. Mix that with some pistol formations and run PA pass off of which ever you run the best or which ever is most effective in that particular game.
Why the hell wouldn’t you try some of this stuff with the type of QB that he is? He’s a fast paced QB who thrives in that type of offense. You could clearly see the difference in the way our offense ran when it had momentum and was in a hurry type of way. You could also clearly see the defense would react negatively to that fast pace.
I’ll never understand how someone who’s coached football all their life could not see this and use all weapons to their advantage? It was obvious to me that if we would have been just a little more creative in the run game, that this would have allowed us to be more aggressive in the pass game and opened up huge holes for both run game and pass game. It would also help your OL.

Nuss played a better football game than he was given credit for. 18/31 for 179 yards against a good SEC opponent, in his first meaningful game as a Tiger is not bad.
It seems like everyone is dismissing his worth as a QB, including Oeaux, because of one ill-advised pass (which was more on Peetz than Nuss).

He really did. He made that nice floating pass to bech on the right sideline that Bech dove to early for, and would have been a huge play down into the red zone. Was a beautiful throw badly timed by bech
I think LSU ended up punting

Walker Howard is as more skilled than Nuss right now. Hes graduating early and will be ready to play by fall. Game over
People say this to young players just out of HS. It takes time to develop. The same was being said with Nussmier and Johnson. When fans didn’t like what they saw in performance; they talked shite about them and said so and so will be gtg.
Watch..Howard will play and show hiccups and everyone will think he sucks.

How dare you say anything critical about Bech on the rant!

It was a tough over the shoulder catch. But it was a nice throw

Nuss sat there on the sideline after throwing the pick by himself, head in his hands, absolutely heartbroken. As the hogs kicked the field goal to win, Bech was the only player that went to him and spent about a minute talking and coaching and bringing him back.
Bech is a natural leader. Hope we can build a team around him and give him a chance to be one of our all time greats.
Completely untrue, why do people make shite up to further some unseen narrative. His roommate Maason Smith and several others came over too!

? I said nothing about supporting your teammates. And I love when fat, middle aged guys on here start shoving their JV football experience around as some sort of moral superiority.
I disagree with you for posting this. What's wrong man?

Nuss is very young and he's got a lot of growing up that he's going to do. The future is very bright for Garret, you couldn't ask for a better committed kid.
