Nuss sat there on the sideline after throwing the pick by himself, head in his hands, absolutely heartbroken. As the hogs kicked the field goal to win, Bech was the only player that went to him and spent about a minute talking and coaching and bringing him back.

Bech is a natural leader. Hope we can build a team around him and give him a chance to be one of our all time greats.

Kid is stud. We need to game plan with him more. Been saying that since the Central Michigan game.

Bech will explode with a new coaching staff that has an actual gameplan.

Maason Smith literally put his hand underneath Nuss’ chin after the INT telling him to keep his head up

Some natural leaders with this freshmen class

Lincoln Riley is going to really mold him into a first rounder.

Thought that was a great sign that some of these players care.

LSU fans put to much pressure on a true freshman with no real starts under his belt. He should not even be out there if you want the truth. I mean look at nix at auburn you saw how he did as a freshman QB. There are not many true freshman Qb's out there with a below avg OLine that are going to come in and light it up. Add the Fact our OC is terrible and has never called an Offense before this year.Give Nuss another start at ULM and decide who will start the A&M game. Max or Nuss.

I think he wasn’t ready yet for the spotlight he will be fine. Really maybe a real offensive coach.

Are you? That’s the real question here. It’s obvious you’ve never played organized sports or you’d realize the value of lifting up your teammates. Now get back to your quilting bee.

No, I’m not.

I said nothing about supporting your teammates. And I love when fat, middle aged guys on here start shoving their JV football experience around as some sort of moral superiority.

Walker Howard is as more skilled than Nuss right now.
Hes graduating early and will be ready to play by fall. Game over

I sort of agree, but think he did ok. He did a phenomenal job to avoid the sack and hurl that ball probably close to 50 yards into the back of the end zone to Bech when it should have been about a 10+ yard sack. He then moved us down the field and had us ready to score and go up 2 scores until the awful Peetz wildcat decision and fumble.

He ran the offense fine and didn't have delay of game issues or issues not knowing the plays. His issues were throwing the ball too fast on 3rd downs with pretty bad inaccuracy at times and the turnovers. The first one was really more good coverage by the DB and a really good and aggresive pick. No big deal for a guy seeing his first meaningful snaps. The one in OT was a complete dead duck and disappointing for a guy with his arm. But again, we should have had a slant designed there for Bech or something going to one of our WRs who has had more than 7 catches on the year or whatever Lee had.
