I believe he'll come back.

All speculation but this guy bleeds purple and gold, didn't sit 2 years behind JD5 to have a below mediocre season and leave this program.
Too much pride. And for those who say they dont want him back , LOL.
Have to get rid of Sloan...

If he makes that decision to come back, along with Gulliory - hopefully we can get a domino effect with other players to being back some experienced leadership.

Have to win remaining games and create a buzz. (challenging ik)
We are now playing for offseason retention and recruiting.
Dont fk this one up, BK...

Yeah, hes great

600 yds passing over his last 4 games combined

And 1.8 yds per carry on 31 rushes over that same time frame

Against just 1 ranked team on the entire schedule

no we don't, Nuss is substantially better and Hurley after another year will be a well above average QB at LSU of 2-3 more years after Nuss. We need receivers and mostly a solid offensive line upgrade. What we have will not allow ANY qb, including Underwood to succeed....unless there is a QB like JD out there somewhere, and I seriously doubt that, as he was one of a kind his final year. He wasn't any better than Nuss prior to that.

Sure. Over those same 4 games, 64/114 - 56%

I hope Nuss leaves, and idiot Rant fans get what they deserve

Nuss plays scared. No chest. Hope he leaves. Had plenty of time to “develop.”

You are talking about one game in which he left concussed and another in which with a big lead and his team in control he didnt force throws and put the ball in harms way because the only way his team could lose was ill advised turnovers.

Sounds nice.

Oh yeah he has a higher yards per attempt, higher qb rating, can actually keep a read option, and on and on.

I really want to know what yall are thinking when you post stuff like this.

Lets take Jayden Daniels AS A PASSER

at LSU he had a higher yards per attempt, yards per completion, qb rating, completion percentage and less interceptions (only 2 during the regular season btw). AND THATS BEFORE RUSHING. By any objective measure Jayden was better his first year at LSU.

Lets go to Jayden as a true freshman at ASU. Similar completion % less INTs, higher yards per attempt, and a better QB rating.

Nuss threw as many INTs vs TAMU and Bama as JD threw COMBINED in his freshman year and first year at LSU

JD5 had a 144.5 passer rating in 2022, Nuss is at 136.3, not a drastic difference

Exactly and to someone else point, I would think the focus would be offensive line, look how things turned when we took a couple injuries there in particular Dillinger. Surely Campbell and Jones going in the draft.

“Sure. Over those same 4 games, 64/114 - 56%”

That my point.. can’t run.. can’t go deep.. can’t dump it short when rushed..

Nuss buss has a blown engine.. time to tow it out of the way…

he was a different QB when we had all 5 starters in. We need OL that can block and more quick plays to anderson.

he will be fine if he comes back.

144.5 is > 136.3

And like I said thats even BEFORE you factor in what he could do with his legs relative to Nussmeier.

ESPN's QBR metric actually has Nuss ahead of 2022 Daniels.

ESPN had Holstein 84th in QB rating. That's the guy we want, or is it just that people are familiar with him because he's from Louisiana?

Do you remember
With the same offensive players, how did Nuss' QB rating vs Georgia compare with Daniels QB rating vs Georgia. in the championship game.

Nuss was a RS Freshman
Daniels was a fourth year starter.

# PLAYER C-A YDS TD I C% RTG
13 NUSSMEIER,G 15-27 294 2 1 56 164.1
5 DANIELS,J 16-24 208 1 1 67 144.9

Thomas, Nabers, and Boutte , All NFL starters vs ?????
