Very disappointed Nuss only got 6 passes as most of his time playing were runs.

I’m watching highlights and you are scrolling Tigerdroppings. If I need to get out of the house more you probably do too. It wasn’t spectacular but it might legitimately be a better pass than JD has made all year.

It really goes back to the sexual fixation so many posters had with the Brennan kid. They irrationally hate Daniels because he was yet another QB chosen to start over Brennan by yet another coaching staff. It's the same smug certainty devoid of facts.

It’s not that he is consistently a bad quarterback. Personally I think he is an inconsistent quarterback that has reached his peak. I think we might have a better quarterback on the team that I would like to see get more reps. That’s all.

As a backup Nuss should be put in every opportunity they can get him in. I think he’ll be excellent when he finally starts. I just don’t see what wins us more games with Nuss than JD right now. Not saying there aren’t some things Nuss can do better but I think it’s a wash as far as offensive production and wins/losses. Regardless of all that, just some of the posts that rag on JD like he’s Anthony Jennings make me wonder what the hell people are watching.

Agreed and part of the reason I don’t like playing teams like Grambling is because is dumb. Nuss should have gotten way more than 6 pass attempts last night but you can’t because the game is so far out of hand by halftime.

I can’t give you an exact answer because we haven’t been able to really get a true comparison. So I’m not going to act like I 100% know that we would win more games with Nuss. I personally like Nuss’s style of play more than I do JD’s. I think it’s more explosive and opens up the field more. Some people might disagree and that’s fine too.
I think it’s dumb that some people think that Nuss is clearly the best option, because he’s pretty much an unknown. Just like I thought it was dumb that people actually thought that JD was a legit Heisman candidate.

Oh, I've got no problem with Nuss. He may well eventually turn out to be a better QB than JD and I want to see him get as many minutes as possible to have him ready when his time comes. It's the blindly emotional insistence that Daniels is playing badly that annoys me.
