Important numbers:
Pinson took 21 shots, 0-7 from 3
Shareef played 7 minutes.

When you dominate the glass like LSU did last night, you should win.

But we scored enough to win the game - we put them on the line too much. Sure some bogus fouls contributed to that but too many senseless and silly fouls mixed in - Eason's last to were just not excusable.

The calls weren’t that bad this game. College basketball in general loves to call charges instead of blocks, and that’s something we don’t take advantage of so we get the shaft every game from it. The few times we tried to take a charge last night it was successful, meanwhile arkansas fouled out half our team by taking them.

Seriously dude?
Always blaming the refs. It’s getting old.
There were calls against Arkansas that we’re questionable and some they just didn’t make.
Why do you and others think the refs have it in for LSU?

Didn’t you see the refs guarding our guys?

You must be a democrat, you only list stats that fit your narrative.

Yes, some of the foul calls last night were questionable. Bordering on absurd. But LSU's starting backcourt just killed them last night: Pinson and Murray went a combined 7-32 (22%) and 0-12 from 3. Why LSU took 28 three pointers (second most in SEC play this season) on a night when they were dominant on the glass is mind boggling.
You did everything else RIGHT in the game: Effort, defense on Notae, limiting turnovers, FT shooting, rebounding...to only then decide to become a 3 point heavy team. LSU took an unnecessary 14 pointers in the 1st half, making only 3. Then decided to take 14 MORE in the second half...only making 3

Fact… the refs did not cost that game last night. Poor shooting was the real reason.

5 shouldn't have been in the game. games are not lost on 1 play but that guy has a knack for making terrible play in clutch times. It has happened all year long, and we continue to high five him.

this will lose LSU the first game in the tourney if they shoot like this. those numbers are downright sad.
