36 percent from the floor and 21 percent from 3. Can’t expect to win with those numbers.

You can when you are leading the game with 8 seconds left and a BS foul call gives them the game winning FTs

Yes we shot poorly. And we still deservingly should have won. Had the game well in hand minus some absolute BS calls. Some of you are letting your hang ups about Wade affect your assessment of reality.

You can when you take 18 more shot attempts than the other team.

“Can’t call out refs unless LSU plays a perfect game shooting 100% and committing 0 fouls”

That’s how y’all sound

More like you cant expect to win close games when officials blatantly screw you and give the other team the game winning points with seconds left...thats the truth.

Yep. I guess we should just ignore the horrible officiating that cost us the game and say oh well, if we had only shot the ball a little bit better. Lol, some of these people are crazy.

You can always say "well, if we had just shot the ball better, we would have won the game". On the other hand, you cant always say that the refs clearly gave the other team the lead and hence the game, when you had the lead and should have had the ball with under 10 seconds left. Idk how some of these idiots can even tie their own shoes based on the dumb shite they say.

we got fricked by the refs tonight. the reality is if the team shoots the ball better they don’t give the refs the opportunity to decide the game.

are the refs the reason we couldn’t beat ole fricking miss at home? how about a trash south carolina team? vandy?

this is a mediocre basketball team. it sucks, but it is what it is

Im talking about the game tonight. The one where we did shoot the ball well enough to have a lead and should have had the ball with under 10 seconds to play in great position to win. Instead, the officials got involved and gave arky the lead via bs foul shots, LSU just didnt shoot well enough to win the game? Thats flawed logic. What happened, happened, and we had the game stolen from us by poor officiating. How can you argue that we didnt get fricked tonight? So, bc of the officials fricking LSU over, we should just say we didnt shoot well enough? When in reality we did and should have won the game had it been called properly. That makes zero sense. Like i said, you can say "we just didnt shoot well enough" after every loss. Thats bullshite. I live in reality, we played well enough that we should have won the game but got it taken from us. Period.

I disagree.

Are they top notch? No. Are they better than people give them credit for? Yes.

Those kids played hard tonight and lost by a freaking free throw. There were several questionable calls from the refs. I'm not one to usually say, "oh there go the refs... blah blah" but there were some terrible calls at the end.

The guy for Arky obviously traveled and that wasn't called. But they call the swat from LSU after the Arkansas player traveled. That's just one of many.

The kids played hard and I'm not about to rip the team.

The refs rigged the game against us, I can’t even count on 2 hands all the phantom/bullshite fouls they called on us. We had multiple players foul out on questionable fouls!

Arkansas shot poorly as well, even worse from three until the last minute or two. LSU played harder on the boards than Arky and dominated offensive rebounds. Both teams played hard defense. It was a game lsu had, and let him slip away by some dumb plays.

Good teams find a way to win. LSU is a slightly below avg SEC team. The fact that they lost to a good team should not surprise anyone.

LSU outplayed Arkansas tonight with effort. Both teams played very hard. There were a ton of calls against Arky in the second half, which was obviously pleasantly surprising. LSU was on the road in a hostile environment, and had the game in hand during the last two minutes and Wilkinson made some horrible decisions. I know some of you refuse to see that though, and would rather blame elsewhere.

Where I agree with you that there were questionable calls down the stretch, LSU’s players didn’t help their cause by committing stupid fouls.
1) Wilkinson- after obviously the Arkansas player hooking him first and not getting the call nor the rebound, he wasn’t disciplined enough to just let go of the hook he had applied to the Arkansas player ( obvious foul ), then he turns around and commits an even dumber foul ( with LSU winning with 10 seconds left, absolutely stupid play ) after the refs missed/blew/ ignored the walking on Notae.
2). Pinson didn’t take the ball strong at the rim to try and force a foul, bad decision making
I think the point the other poster is trying to make is, no matter the fact that the refs sucked down the stretch of the game in some very critical spots and the calls went against LSU, they still could have done better and won that game.
I am proud of the effort the players played with but very disappointed in the lack of discipline and situational awareness down the stretch and in the most critical part of the game.

The refs have been blamed in every game since Florida earlier in the season. When do y’all start blaming Wade? The mancrush is just laughable at this point

You can't make those dumb mistakes on the road against a very good team with the game on the line. Wilkinson seems to have a knack for committing those types of fouls. It seems like there are adults on this board that are objective and realize we made a few bonehead plays at the end, and then there are what appears to be emotional kids that can't see the bigger picture. Calls were missed both ways. Could you have called travelling on the guy at the end? Possibly. But they were also hacking and body checking him at the same time, which was NOT needed in that situation. He was covered up, and would have had a difficult task of just getting rid of the ball, with 8 seconds left 30' from the basket.

I don't even blame Wade for last night. You had to have #5 in at that point with Eason out. He has committed bonehead fouls all year.
