Now you see why Orgeron’s only option was to hire coordinators with no experience

Experienced coordinators knew Orgeron would not last much longer so he had to settle for these guys that have never called plays at a high level. The binder just spun it as “we’re looking for a Joe Brady again”

Yes, hiring a head coach that never called either side of the ball would eventually result in this
It was a given that he needed the best coordinators
Those guys almost always want to be head coaches
Maybe O can get Burrow to recommend a QB and Brady to recommend his second choice. LOL
Always have 2019. Never forget

While negativity normally irritates me, all of the “hire the best coordinators” comments made me think of something……
O hired two guys that have little to no experience as coordinators. Saban hired Bill O’Brien.
Interesting comparison

His bosses above him are like that too. Did Orgeron ever called a play at a head coach at a major D1 school before taking over coaching responsibilities?
Year in and out, the management allows vague and ill informed decisions including that buyout for Pellini, and the folks before him who were let go.

Maybe he’s the exception and not the rule.

i said this for years
if yoiu get good coordinators you can win
see 2019
but tough to maintain if coordinators keep leaving
if not you can crash and burn just as fast.
chiz could at least call defense. he failed when he lost gus.
O is in deep shite.

And give Dabo credit. It seems as if he knew his weaknesses and had the humility to learn to address them. Does O have this ability?
