It takes a true dumbass to compare Archers tenure at LSU with Miles'.

What are you going to talk about this time next year when Nicky Boy is not in the top ten?

Are you insane? Alabama will likely be one of the favorites to win the NC next year. They will be in the top ten wire to wire next year, just like they were this year.

But it doesn't take luck to at least go over .500 in the SEC over a two-year period, and it sure as hell doesn't take luck to keep from losing games because of stupid-arse clock management blunders. It just takes competent coaching, which is what we lack.

Actually, the truer dumbass is the one who can't see the similarities. The only real difference is that Miles has stretched out the decline over a longer period. Of course, he had a higher starting point to fall from, too, so it should naturally take longer to get to the same place Archer took us. But I have faith in Miles to get us there.

All you are doing is spreading your BS about why LSU should go and get Saban and bring him back to LSU! Get over it already, it is not going to happen. To change coaches hurts more than anything that can take place to a team even than changing out OC or DC or position coaches. What Miles is doing now will be better for the team in the long run than replacing Miles himself right now.

And LSU was in the running for 10 weeks, until losing at Alabama.

Again you cant go 12-0 every year. LSU was in position to win the west and play their way into a possible title game and just came up a little short.

hey ameriturd,
i was born and reared in louisiana. i am lucky to be an lsu alum. my blood bleeds purple and gold.....even during the 90's.

i would be proud of lsu and it's football team if it repeated the 90's.

on the other hand, i've had to put up w/ turds like you for over 40 years, and i probably will have to continue. you are the negative side of life.

They are tryiong to place unrealistic odds for LSU to do year-in and year-out. They are doing as good as anyone there is over given period of time as anyone else whem it comes to winning percentages. The number one thing that is placed on a Coach when seaching for a head Coach to replace another with. And this coming in the toughest conference in the Nation in College football. Yes they haven't done so well over the last two years, but look at all that has happened to this team over that period of time, and don't give me that looking for excuses thing to me. We all know, anyone that is that knows about College football, that loosing your one and only QB at the time when it happened and then the mistake that was with double-DC's. LSU over the last ten years is as good or better than any given team over that same period of time as anyone else. If not then, why is everyone trying to put them as the number 1 team of the decade then. Two coaches are responsible for that and it was Denardo's coaches recruiting that set it up to begin with. So do some searching before you go around calling for a Coaches job when it is not justified. After next year then we will all see what needs to take place but, until then just have patience.

Remember!
All good things comes to those who waite!

Feel as you wish cause that's your right, but when your bring your "ugly football every week" for 5 yrs and your "What's the point of that if you can't win an SEC championship" stuff here it's my right to say BS.

And the reason I say that is the fact the results of LSU football the last 5 yrs, to win the SEC, is surpassed by 1 SEC team out of 12 and nationally those results, to win the national title, are surpassed by 1 team out of 120.

You care more bout appearance and I care more bout results...so be it.

Seems to be a fairly noticeable difference to me and I would think with most reasonable people, but each to our own.

We had 5 losses last year...we have 3 so far this year and a possiblity to be ranked in the top 10. That's not a decline.

So will Miles in his last two years before being fired, if he is given as long a leash as Archer was. Hopefully, he won't be, and will be gone after the first losing season instead of the second.

Three games behind and eliminated a month before the SECCG is not "a little short".

So, replacing DiNardo with Saban in 2000 hurt? Replacing Stovall with Arnsparger in 1984 hurt? Alabama's replacing Shula with Saban in 2007 hurt? Florida's replacing Zook with Meyer in 2005 hurt?

Firing a bad coach and replacing him with a good coach NEVER hurts.

I personally do not believe we have fallen back to the pack. The coaches made some bad calls and the fact we have had an inexperienced QB the last two years means if things are done correctly we are in the NCG in 2011. Miles knew what he was getting when he kicked Perriloux off the team.

If things had went right this year we would be the ones in the NCG and not Spama. We did not play well against UF and the Spama game was a mockery of good officiateing, and the Ole Piss game ha a brain fart. These are not excuses just assetments.

So, I believe we will win the West next year and possibly via for a Nation Championship.

So Les Miles has 3 blowouts in bowl games of 3 of the greatest football programs in history (Miami, Notre Dame, and OSU)....has kept LSU in the top 3-10 recruiting wise (zero dropoff) and has LSU poised to finish top 10 this year with a 10-3 record WITH an offense ranked close to last (freaking amazing in itself)..

...And we are now just part of the pack? Holy Bat-tard. There must be a building tall enough close to where you live...if not Ill pay for the trip...
