Clark is amazing

And their big has over 2000 career points and is a CAREER 67% FG shooter.

This team is more than Clark. Their low point total this year is 68 points. I hope they are worn out from beating SC...but they won three games in three days in the Big 10 Tournament over Purdue, Maryland (who beat the shite out of them earlier in the season) and Ohio State, and scored more points each game than the previous.

This won't be easy. But I'd still rather face them than SC

Honestly just prevent her assists. Keep everyone else down. She is just too good she is going to her numbers. But keep her assists down by keeping everyone else at bay. That I think is the best way to approach the game defensively.

This. I’m not talking about dirty fouls, but you have to be physical as frick with her. If she comes thru the lane she has to pay a toll for it. Bump the shite out of her. Make her have to work through a gauntlet. FlowJay needs to be on her like Garrett Temple on JJ Redick at Duke.
She gets rattled and starts chucking bricks and making turnovers too. I saw her do it against South Carolina.

Indiana beat Iowa twice this year. Georgia almost beat Iowa. There are your blueprints.

I watched both of her last two games and she was brilliant. But she had to give a performance of a lifetime to beat SC. She probably got less than 4 minutes bench rest during the game, and she was cramping during the postgame . Now you are asking her to have a repeat performance on 40 hours of recovery time. That’s a very big ask!

I think this is our advantage make her play fast, press her early make her work arse off for everything. And in the end make her prove she is superhuman.

How bout a Tonya Harding on the way to the pre game press conference. This gal is one of the best in the biz, no shame in her game she’s had 41 on the two best Ds in the game. Just hope she’s a little off and we’re ALOT on.

Double team Clark. Leave #24 alone. She’s nothing but a spectator. She played 39min, 0 pts. 1 shot and 1 assist.

I would play Box and 1. Have someone stay with her all over the court and double when she is in someone’s area.

Give her the nba threes (contested a lil) and don’t let her drive

It's funny how all these people who haven't watched a single game of women's basketball in over a decade are suddenly crawling out of the woodwork and acting like experts on the subject. If you ever actually watched Caitlin Clark play before, you would know that she is capable of shooting the lights out. Daring her to shoot 3's isn't a viable strategy.

Took a perfect game for iowa to beat sc and thats what they got. Iowa shot 49% on 57 attempts. Sc shot 39% on 77 attempts. Iowa was perfect from the line and sc 69% from the line. Sc out rebounded iowa 46 to 22. Bottom line is iowa did a grea job of making most out of their limited possessions and sc just couldnt get it to fall.
