You obviously didn't understand what I wrote when I said he "steps on the other broadcaster."
At least it's not like basketball where he's openly antagonistic to one of the other broadcasters. For baseball he just cuts them off or talks over them.

So we have a broadcaster that can't pronounce the word Alex because of his accent? You have to be kidding me. Don't you think it has something to do with the fact that there is one Alex regularly associated with LSU baseball that is pronounced that way so he just thinks he is supposed to pronounce all of them that way?

To each his own. I would actually like to know what's going on in the game, others may not. If you aren't concerned about the particulars of the game I can certainly understand how him continually screwing up the details wouldn't bother you.
