Now I know how Saban felt w 2 weeks to prepare for LSU

Kiffin now gets to play Saban and get the Tigers ready. The difference in years past (for us) is we/LSU now have as much (or more) talent as Ala. Saban knew that if he had 2 weeks to prepare w his roster he could win. NIL era has also allowed for more accomplished AND talented football players. LSU should have a slight/noticeable advantage there as well. Should be an awesome "day time" experience in Tiger stadium. Maybe Weeks will be healthy and we can dominate for 4 quarters. Geaux Tigers!!!!!

How we look in the first game and how we look with extended prep for a big game coming off a bye are 2 huge boxes i'd love to see checked off for long term confidence levels. We've already checked off the first.

There is without question a feeling of a power shift in this rivalry to where it still feels like either team can win but it feels like we come in as the A side of the equation now.

LSU and bama has had the same bye week for a long time. Now that bama is getting weaker as a program, this is the last year. Wonder who we get next year after our bye week. And when we play bama again, will we both have the same bye week.

I don't think we have more talent, I think coaching is their issue. Put Kiffin and Baker running the Alabama roster and Deboer running LSU's and no chance LSU wins. Year 1 under Kiffin and this game is close to a tossup, next year LSU will be favored in Tuscaloosa, in two years Bama comes to BR expecting to lose.
LSU talent will only get better, Alabama talent will at best maintain and probably decline.
