Did y’all notice our guys looking tired at the end? Kidding… But seriously did y’all see a difference? To me it wasn’t drastically different, but time will tell especially as the season goes on.

We looked soft in the trenches.

Seemed like 4th qtr conditioning had them fresher than last couple yrs, marked improvement

I didn’t notice a difference at all. But then again, I’m not one of the idiots who thought Moffit sucked.

No, but i did notice my 9yr old granddaughter remark “why are there so many fat guys on the team”? And besides, they SHOULD HAVE still been relatively fresh at the end as there was seemingly no effort expended in the fist half.

Still soft but seemed to be well conditioned. Just soft on the lines. No outside contain, no shooting gaps, no penetration in the run game offensively or defensively

Compared to UCLA last year, yes we showed more stamina. But that was an outlier.

Lots of stamina at the end.

Yall confuse softness for just not being good too often.

Yeah, I don't remember seeing anyone getting blown into the backfield, but there were definitely some technique issues on the line.
As for the d-line, losing our monster on the 2nd possession changed the complexion of our d-line.

They didn't look tired they looked weak.

When? Name one instance where a guy lost a strength battle? Taking a bad angle on a blitz isn't a strength issue.

I mean I saw multiple times that a lineman was lying on the ground while somebody was chasing after our quarterback.

I thought the team looked like they were in better condition than last year. The OL still has a lot of work to do, but we’re solid from a strength standpoint everywhere else.

Campbell by year 3 will kill people. Olinemen take 3 solid years to get physical with few exceptions. They have to learn to play with more leverage and technique which comes with reps against all types and sizes of Dlinemen. That will always be the same no matter the program or year. Maturity on the Oline takes time.

Moffitt wasn’t the problem. The HC needs to enforce participation and hold the team accountable

This team is marginally better in strength and stamina Our online problems is more of a freshman and not playing together long, having continuity problems that will be fixed. They started to fix it in the fourth quarter they just ran out of time
