You can't believe this i am so tired of this i am not a JJ or Lee guy i could have cared less but lets be real The QB positon did not win one game for us this year JJ and Lee both threw for over 200 yard 1 time each!!! Our smothering D and running game is what made us 13-0 not jj or lee we averaged the same amount of points with either starting up until monday. I am so glad they are both gone! Bring on ZM

Really don't have a problem with Randall being a change of pace QB to come in a throw defenses off but starter?! I'm ready to see a real pocket QB at LSU, its time!!

The best guy should play regardless of style. Plus just because he is black and fast doesnt mean hes a running qb on his film there were several times where he just used his speed and athleticism to avoid pressure then look back downfield. The problem with JJ is once he started moving in the pocket he took his eyes off the WRs. He showed signs of coaching and teaching not to this year-several times vs Arkansas- but he regressed against UGA and Bama. Once again. Mett should not be handed the job. It should be open competition. Mett only has 1 spring on randall and rivers so its not like hes far ahead of them in LSU's system.

BS The best qb should play not the best athlete. I don't want an "athlete with a great upside" at qb. I want a qb, a true qb who can throw long, fast and hard. When was the last time we saw that. Every other SEC team has a true qb, not an "athlete".
