Not the reason for the loss, but just sayin'...

I counted at least 3 obvious facemasks that were not called, 2 of them in the 1st half. I'm not big on blaming refs for stuff, but facemasks are usually pretty readily apparent and uncontroversial. I'm not sure I've ever seen that many blown facemasks.
And on the punt return, there was an extremely obvious block in the back (Aggie pushed LSU #44 in the back all the way out of bounds) that took a would-be tackler completely out of the play (it was just before he made his cut from the sideline back across the field).

I'm still wondering why taunting wasn't called on Howell for yelling and motioning in the face of Curne. I'm sure he was saying stuff like "I own you". They showed it on the broadcast and smack talk is one thing but that went way, way over the line as animated as he was. Wonder if the refs even warned him about that. It was the very first play of the game by LSU. If you don't call that, don't EVER call taunting!
