We got Jack Bech coming up and Kole Taylor is more than capable of handling starting duties until Bech is ready for more playing time which won’t be long. Don’t count out Nick Storz either. He was pretty solid blocking in limited action. Who knows maybe Devonta Lee goes the Jacoby Stevens route changing positions and finally finds his right spot at TE. We have no time for a pussy arse diva.

I bet he some how weasels into getting it approved and plays next year. COVId shite and all. He was a bust anyway. Too many people talked him up as the second coming. Better to be surprised with a wait and see instead of pumping unrealistic hype on a frosh. So many never live up to it.

Second coming of who? I get that people are salty because he left the program, but saying that Gilbert was a total bust on the field as a true freshman TE is just sour grapes. He didn’t suck by any means.

I don't think people are saying he's a bust but what people are ticked at is that he said he was having issues with his body hurting, he was homesick, and so forth.
It was a load of BS. I really gave the kid the benefit of the doubt and he played the entire LSU fanbase.
I'm honestly surprised he stayed in the SEC.
Enjoy losing at Florida. I've honestly never been so ticked at a former player. If you want to transfer, then transfer. Don't make up this nonsense about how he was homesick and stuff. Just transfer if that's what you want to do.

The offense looked a lot more cohesive after he left and TJ got benched. No offense to either kid intended.
