Ole Miss lost their 2nd string to the portal in December.
This is all about meaningful practice reps as 2nd string and not relegated to scout team.
Given Dart's performance against Texas Tech, it may well be an open competition in Spring for QB1, though realistically won't happen.
QB 1&2 meaningful reps to allow development
QB3 and below, not so much.
I don't know why this is hard for folks to understand.
If he had gone somewhere with legit QB1 and QB2, then yes, ridiculously bad perhaps.

My response never had anything to do with whether or not I thought Howard was making the right decision. I’m not angry at him for doing what he thinks is best for his future. I don’t think he’s a coward or disloyal (well, maybe for choosing Ole Miss) or any of the other derogatory opinions others are expressing about him.
My challenge to you has always been to produce evidence that Kelly lied to Howard about his prospects on the team. There’s no way he could have promised him a chance to start in 2023. No one could know how Howard was going to develop in a year’s time or how he would stand relative to Nuss. It’s one thing to say Howard thought he’d be in a position to compete. It’s quite another to imply he was somehow done wrong.

I didnt imply the Howard's were done wrong! Crap happens. The deal with the Howards and LSU changed. Once the understanding changed, the Howard's had a decision to make.
This post was about how "ridiculous" the decision to leave was? I was pointing to reasons why he decided to leave. None of which were ridiculous.
Stay on topic next time and bring value to the post. Not be a tool and nitpick the obvious.

I wonder where the Howard's got this thought? What do you think Kelly and staff was selling to the Howard's to get Walker on campus? I can assure you that they werent selling 2 years on the practice squad.
