I’m pulling for them. No real axe to grind with Vandy but it’s been decades since Michigan has won it. It would be a cool story.

It shows how tough it is to win a natty in college baseball now. There’s total parity and college baseball is very deep. It’s good for the game for teams like Michigan, Coastal Carolina, and Fresno State to win nattys and for teams like Stony Brook and Kent State to get to Omaha. This is why you can’t knock on Mainieri so much because the expectations from this fanbase of winning it all are unrealistic. This isn’t the 90s anymore

Is this serious? You know how many fans from Big 10 area that are watching that couldn't care less about the CWS any other year? There will now be tens of thousands of people that will start following College Baseball closer now that Michigan is doing this well. College Baseball is growing rapidly and things like Michigan playing for the title will help tremendously.
