yea the offense was solely responsible for losing to state and auburn. It's impossible to take clearly biased people such as yourself seriously.

over the last 5 years how many losses is on chief as opposed to shitty offense and shitty qb play?

The defense improved significantly, and contrary to your distorted views, was one of the better defenses in America before the end of the year. The offense didn't improve in the least bit. It was the same ineptitude throughout the year.

Y'all are all caught up in the weeds. The fact is, neither the O or the D have been good enough and changes needed to be made on both sides of the ball. Unfortunately, the D isn't where I would have chosen to start but here we are. Miles is here to stay - apparently for about 2 more years - and Chavis is gone.

The debate over who was most to blame for our losses is dumb. The D is to blame bc they allowed the other team to score too much. The O is to blame because they didn't score enough. The key to a winning team is the right balance. You don't have to have an amazing O when your D can hold the other team off. You don't have to have a great D when O can out score anyone. Y'all are debating nonsense.

The fact is that it's Miles' job to make that balance work in almost any combination and he just hasn't lately. He has a chance with this hire to tweak the program to make the formula work.

Distorted views? The proof is right there on tape. Chavis regularly couldn't close out the end of big games without a two score cushion.

And again, the offense is not the topic of this thread. I have neve once said it is at an acceptable level, so continually bringing it up is just y'all deflecting.

I would have been pissed if I'd held Bama to 13 in regulation and lose

True. Not his fault. Again, it's Miles' job to make the formula work. It didn't.

Hahahahahahahaha. You overlook an entire game, except for the last two minutes, and suddenly come to the conclusion that it's the defense's fault? Your views certainly are distorted.

I'd be pissed if we had a lead with under two minutes and have up long scoring drives to Bama, twice.

Oh shite, that actually happened.

His defense gave up scores in the two minutes before halftime as well, so no i didn't over look a whole game.

" .... The defense improved significantly"

Did you see the Music Bowl in Korea or was I'm dreaming that the Irish ran and passed all over our asses ?

And the offense, which was one of the worst in America? But this thread isn't about that.

I could see all the way from Korea that the defense improved significantly. If you can't comprehend that fact, I have no words for you.

Unlike our offense, Notre Dame's was well coached. Leonard Fournette only had 14 carries the entire game. Jennings had an interception and a fumble. Yeah, it was the defense's fault we lost.

Miles is great. Everyone else is to blame.

Did you know you can be critical of both? Crazy concept, I know.

You're only as good as your most recent results, right? Isn't that the mantra around here?

I didn't see an improved defense last week.

If Chavis had planned to leave all along why even make LSU offer you a contract? Pretty damn dirty if you ask me, now you've locked down your assistants and any DC that comes in is locked with these guys and can't bring anyone himself. LSU looks like complete buffoons in this as well.

Despite the stats/rankings, Chavis' defenses shite the rack in the last drives of games pretty consistently during his tenure. But that's not to discount the offensive problems that fricking PLAGUE the team.
