re: Nobody Talking About Joe Twisting Ankle-Knee?

It wasn’t so much his mobility imo, but he seemed a little unable or unwilling to put all of his weight on that leg when he was transferring his weight stepping into his throws.
His passes weren’t quite as precise and had a bit of wobble to them.
It was an awkward twist and the defender fell on the lower part of his leg. Couldn’t tell if the hip, knee, ankle, or foot took the brunt of it, but he was bothered by it for sure.
That said, he was moving pretty well and obviously stayed in and made throws, so it doesn’t seem all that serious. Just needs to rest and let it heal over these next 2-3 weeks.
Should be plenty of time for him to get ready for UF.

Watch the video of him leaving the field before he sees Mett in the tunnel. He’s limping.

Yeah like someone said it was going to feel worse after the game.
And it will get worse before it gets better.
But it’s likely just soreness with no real structural damage.
So rest.
Hopefully he isn’t pushed for Utah State if he isn’t ready. The season won’t be decided that day, but it certainly could be a week later against Florida.
Whatever it takes to get him to 100% for that game, do it. If that means sitting for Utah State, so be it.

Joe is amazing. I thought that hit on the UCF pick-six would have ended his season. Was absolutely shocked to see him back out the next series, leading a touchdown drive!

He'll play against Utah State for sure. Otherwise Utah state would actually have the advantage at the QB position.

His timing and mobility was off after that. Still he played like a Heisman guy but you could tell it was bothering him. Rest it up for 2 weeks.

lot of awkward plays. It’s part of being undersized and scrappy. It’s border line dirty
I watched that play and didn't see anything dirty about it - seemed like one of the perils that are always a possibility. Bad luck is what I saw - no intent whatsoever.
I am extremely glad that it was not more serious - hope the bye give ample time for full recovery.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
