Those same people also think that football isn't necessary and LSU should cut it's Athletic program, thinking that it doesn't contribute to the university. There are more that see not having a pep band making the trip as being bad politics as opposed to what you are stating. Anyway, the money is already raised "independently" because LSU athletics is separate from the school and already donates a great deal of money to the university.

you need to start an official thread about this with all the facts (about the UW game not the full band thing right now)...where people who want to donate can sign up (just to say they would no actual money yet) and have all of the emails

people are not going to read through all of this thread and this one starts off with you complaining about your senior year which just isnt important to everyone or your cause.

exactly. this is a cut that takes away from the game itself and the plans for the band should have been made when they made all the plans for team a long time ago

They could also cut the number of shoulder pads in half. While the defense is on the field they wear them. When they come off the field, they take them off and give to the offense. Of course, they won't be fitted perfectly, but one must make amends for these necessary budget cuts.

Maybe there should be a NEW thread with a site and such

I think its BS. They make me pay for La Tech, UL, & Tulane in my season tickets and they don't have money. BS
