Still fun to watch and attend.

You have a different idea of fun than I do. I've been to one in person and found it incredibly boring. I just watch the 4-5 minute highlights generally and get all out of it anyone would ever need.

Have you ever heard of an SEC program not having a spring game?

Yes, I've seen multiple instances of teams not having a true game anymore and just running situational formats in the SEC and elsewhere

In general, I think Spring football is greater cost/risk than its value.

Not zero value.

Just not enough.

LSU fans don't show up to spring games anyway

Haven’t missed one in a while. Love going to them. Yes they are fun.

Fun to watch and attend? Sure, if you like going to scrimmages that mean nothing. And they're still getting those reps in practice

I got blasted on here for saying we need more help on the OL. There’s not any depth. I would hate to lose anybody because of a spring scrimmage. Especially with lack of depth in some key areas.

There is zero benefit for having a Spring game. It is literally the most overrated event. The practices are far more important than the actual spring game. I would not mind if they did away with it all together and just had practices and a mini scrimmage/7 on 7 type event.

I am interested in the strength and conditioning of the players. I want everyone healthy for August.

Spring games are important to recruiting

No.

Not nearly the same.

Any extra time the team can get in a “game” scenario to work out the kinks with play calling, signaling, etc. is a good thing

They can do this in practice.

So dumb post all around.
