No one is going to pick us to beat Bama

and I like it. You can already hear the talking heads say "I like Alabama, this defense is so stout. They've got the better offense, they're playing at home."
Nevermind that outside of Trent Richardson, their offense is basically non existent.
LSU will be the underdog and I'm starting to the get the idea that we're gonna get no respect in the next few weeks. Bama's schedule is a whos who of mediocre teams. I'm not ready to anoint them the greatest ever just yet.

They are neck and neck with us. We look very much alike. Bama is playing at home. Advantage Bama, if thats worth anything.
If its in Death Valley, advantage LSU. It doesnt really matter. Either team could win this one. Both teams will need the "BIG PLAY" to win. Big gains on offense, turnovers, special teams.

Its for the better.. When we pull off the"upset" the media will be on our nuts so hard we won't even be able to scratch them

Last year, they were supposedly 2-3 scores better than us. People were expecting a 34-17 type of beatdown.
We all know what happened. LSU steps it up when we need to. We've done it more consistently this year than any other season I remember.

I don't know if you have tuned into the Bama Ole Piss game, but Bama is making them look like a JV team. They look better than us right now, especially on defense.

Their oline is better, their rbs are better, their D is better.
Passing game is a wash.
Going to be a tough game.

I disagree. We've played tougher teams and most of them away from Tiger Stadium. Bama's played an inferior schedule and most of their games have been at home.

My thoughts.
I honestly think that Brad Wing is one of LSU's best advantages. It should be a low scoring game with field position being very important. Wing hasn't really "laid into one" yet because almost everything goes inside the 20. I look forward to him changing the game with a 60-70 yard punt.
