For all you designers out there.... here's your chance to have an impact on one of the LSU schools. LSUA is seeking a face to their "General" in an additional to the regular athletic word-mark logo.

lol... no worries.. we've heard them all!

Actually though, 5 out of 7 varsity teams won their conference and went to post-season play.... Men's Basketball was ranked #1 in the nation all year and made it to the final-four.... Rugby made it to the final-four in their respective national championship as well!

re: 2012 LSU and SEC football schedules

Posted by LA Tiger on 12/20/11 at 10:43 pm to
That was the official tentative schedule from about a month ago. It was subject to change slightly at the time... i don't have an update since that time.
2012 Schedule:

September
1 North Texas
8 Washington
15 Idaho
22 South Carolina
29 Towson

October
6 Florida (A)
13 Auburn (A)
20 Kentucky (A)
27 OPEN WEEKEND

November
3 Alabama
10 Texas A&M
17 Ole Miss (A)
I'm sure this has probably been posted... but if so, it's worth the repeat.

The Night Before Christmas - Bayou Bengal Style!!

T'was days before Christmas and all through the school
Everyone was proclaiming, 'The Tigers will rule!'
The trophies were sitting on the mantle with care
... ... ... In the hopes the crystal football soon would be there
First Ducks, then Dogs then the Gators were foes
..... LSU beat them all to get to 13 and Eaux.
The players were nestled all snug in their beds
While visions of championships danced in their heads.
And they in their jerseys and Les in his hat
Settled in to face Bama in the city of Yats.
When out on the field, there rose such a clatter
Lo and behold, it was the Honey Badger!
He stripped the ball - Bama knew it was frightening
Away to the end zone he flew like lightning
When what to our wondering eyes should appear
But a bevy of Tigers who knew no fear.
The Mad Hatter led them on the field with class
"Wait a minute," he said. "Let me taste the grass."
More rapid than honey badgers his Tigers they came
And he whistled and shouted and called them by name.
On Shepherd, On Jefferson, On Ware and Blue
On Hilliard, On Lee and Brad Wing too!
To the top of the polls the Tigers will soar
We want it all - National Championship #Four!!

This would be an awesome caption if that was Mo in the picture!
Xenophon -- It came directly to me via email from a vice president at the LSU System office. I received it to make other event scheduling decisions. It's definitely the current plan for the schedule, but like i said, it could change.
Rohan2Reed: -- I had those same questions. And I didn't get an answer. I was told it's definitely subject to change at this point (it's early)... but that's the current working schedule.
This is a portion of the current tentative schedule: (Subject to change)

I can just hear the announcers now on the first possession......

Wow [insert commentary guy's name here], can you believe this? LSU just went on an 88 yard scoring drive. They only ran the ball 6 times and never attempted a pass. It's going to be a long game for that Georgia Def. line.

i know he called it earlier in the year but i dont think saban will think to look at that

He's only one of the best coaches in the history of college football... but you're probably right. he won't think of that. :dope:

Are you talking about Crazy Train

Crazy Train

Yes!! thank you.. i couldn't think of it for anything.

Name of a song played during games....

Posted by LA Tiger on 10/23/11 at 5:22 pm
I can't think of the song that's played during time-outs. It starts with a scream... goes in to a few hard hitting drum beats... then guitars come in...

i know that's not much of an explanation, but can anyone help out??
Does anyone honestly think all this negativity helps things? The only thing all this incoherent garbage does is give these kids one more thing to worry about.

That is all. Flame away. Deep down, you all know it's true. One day you'll grow up and realize that.
How bout we just get by Auburn... then we talk bama!
Bet is was hard finding that miniature purple cape!! :geauxtigers:
That has to be the worst thing i've ever heard.
