What?
We're constantly ranked highly by preseason mags, most all sports places list Tiger Stadium as one of the toughest places to play, and the LSU tailgating scene is consistently ranked in the top three of places to tailgate.
PP won nearly every award possible for a defender last year and was drafted in the top 5, Ridley was first team all-SEC, Sheppard has not lived up to the hype, Mathieu was, and has been given, a shite-TON of love, and our QB (who we constantly bash) has been placed on the Heisman watch list.
And I have no clue as to what you're talking about as far as other fan bases thinking we're a joke. Most everyone recognizes that the LSU fan base is one of the most loyal and passionate groups in the country.
LSU gets lots of love, but SOME need to play the victim card at every perceived slight. Please...

Wasn't it the late marquise hill back in 03 or so that said either your going to respect us or were going to knock you in the mouth.
So let's just let it be settled on the field. I would much rather be the team that is getting no respect preseason and comes out with a chip on our shoulder than the media princess that thinks they are hot shite because the "experts"at espn say so

Disagree. We are a preseason top 5 in almost every poll, #1 in at least one poll. BleacherReport (yeah, yeah, I know) picked us as Top Team of the Decade. Etc, etc

I THINK HE IS REFERRING TO ESPN. ESPN IS LIKE A GIRL THAT HAS A CRUSH ON YOU THAT YOU HAVE F*CK*D A COUPLE OF TIMES.

None of our amazing athletes get the respect they deserve -PP7, KS11, Drake Nevis, Stevan Ridley, RS10, TM7, SW11, etc. I mean the list goes on but none have gotten love in the draft like they should have and none that are on our team are getting any honors or mentioning besides MC17. Other fan bases think we are a joke even the ones who suck don't even take us seriously! I can go on and on and list things that just piss me off but ill end that here.
