Maclin, Allen, Rasco, Hunter

Incoming: Gilmore, Herron, Neal, Lacouture and Patterson

Also Don't count out them using Freak on the edge

Mingo is so gone.

Off topic, Reid is not IMO. He's not a 1st or 2nd rounder, but has the potential to be if he stays a senior season.

LSU is still going to be incredible on D next season. So many young guys getting experience now. So much speed.. also some could argue (while I do not agree) that Mingo and Sam aren't getting the amount of sacks we expected any ways. Again I still love those two and believe the wreak havok! And their leadership is very appreciated!

potentially scary bad

a positive is that whoever replaces Mingo will probably make more plays on the first series of the first game then Mingo has all year.

Maclin is a beast. He is just behind top tier talent.

I don't think Mingo is a 1st round pick at this point. Really needs another year to gain some size. He could be a 1st round pick with another 15-20 pounds and a good senior year.

Two schools of thought - the one above and the one that says Mingo is gone. I think he's gone. The mistake being made by the purveyors of the Mingo needs more size opinion is that while he does need more size to play DE, he won't be playing DE, and he's plenty big enough to be an OLB in a 3-4.

No offense but you are by far the worst poster I have ever seen in my entire life. 80% of drafting is based upon potential and athletic ability. All NFL scouts realize that Mingo is a pass rushing terror that's playing DE in a 4-3 when he should without a doubt be a OLB/DE in a 3-4. His combo of size and speed will make his draft stock shoot to the top of the draft boards after the combine. Pass rushers are at a premium in the NFL these dats. The game has completely become about the QB (either helping or stopping them). Think of the highest valued positions.
1. QB
2. OT
3. CB
4. Pass Rushers

There's not a snowballs chance in hell that Minter goes before Mingo or Montgomery. Also anyone on this board that thinks there's a chance Mingo is in purple and gold next season in delusional. There's no way he makes it past 15 in next year's draft.

Also the idiot who said Mingo hasn't been productive has zero football sense. Production is not always measured in the sack line. He creates a nightmare match up for offenses and demands a ton of attention, opening up room for other Dlineman. Also the amount of pressure he puts on the QB and how much he helps in the running game is great. Mingo is a great tiger and I wish him the best in his future.

Ive just heard rumblings that he wants to finish school and win a title. I wouldnt be surprised either way and deserves all the good that may come his way.

Mingo is going in the top ten and so is montgomery! Just read a draft report today that rated them. One report out has Mingo #1 overall.

Mingo runs a legit 4:5 in the forty. He's a monster! Every mock draft has him and Montgomery in the top 10 in the draft!!!

Mingo was great this year and will make all american as will Montgomery.

If Loston comes back he could go as high as the 1st round(2014) barring injuries . I found nothing on him for this draft.

M&M = Millionaires

Reid is rated the #1 FS in the NFL draft or some rate him #2 He's gone

Reid = a Millionaire

as long as they don't get injured the rest of the way.

Logan is rated 1st or 2nd round I think he should
stay it might raise his stock.

Simon should come back it would really help him go from a 4th or 5th to a 2nd or 1st

I cannot find a projection on Minter because he has come out of nowhere. However, I would suspect late 1st or 2nd.

The NFL isn't looking for giant bruisers anymore. They're looking for the quick, skinnier guys. Yeah, the OLs can bash with people all day, but they don't particularly like running all over. Mingo, based on his athleticism and speed, is a first rounder. An NFL team with the right scheme would turn him into a Pro Bowler.

I would say as of right now he is #3 safety. I had him around 4th/5th as of last week. He had a strong showing against Miss St. (as always) I must admit Reid is starting to show his potential the middle-back end of this season. I may be conceding Reid now that I think about it.

I believe Logan goes.

I do not believe Simon goes. He should stay most definitely to help cement him as a potential 1st/2nd round CB like the previous #1 corners out of LSU. He is not there by any means yet.

Minter is not projected much of any where mainly because he came on strong of late. I have a very good feeling Minter stays tho and I'm not sure how his size translate to NFL.. but Chavis absolutely loves him.

soul I'm quoting draft evaluations done by pro scouts. They have Reid #1 or #2 FS in the draft
which makes him a 1st rounder. I think the Ravens want him.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mingo stays after rating out low. Sam will most likely go but not near as high as he was hyped before the season.
