In this game, we need to see the team compete hard and show NO quit until the final buzzer.

Win or loss is not important right now. This is "character building" time.

and this is without a doubt the worst LSU team in history of LSU..

frick......Mikey this shite doesn't help one damn bit. The current condition of the program has nothing to do directly with the guys on this team. They are fighting like hell with one arm tied behind their back. I have accepted the fact that this will be a very loonnngg BB season. They are very young and are very limited because of numbers. Even the style of play will be dictated because of the numbers and the risk players fouling out of games. This will be a growing year, support the team man

WHAT IF......we came back and won this. It would be awesome. We can do it.

ETA: A lot of sarcasm meters are broken in this thread.

"Coach Johnson, what do you think about your team's execution?"

"I think that would be a good idea...."

Just off the top of my head, the SEC West is going to be absolutely horrible, and the East is going to be really, really good.

Maybe the craptastic play from this team has something to do with what you consider a bad thread. Me thinking you are a moron has no relation to it; however.

except for STATE.

I do think that in 2 years LSU will control the west year in and year out. LSU has the best coach in the West.

I'm not concerned. This is good experience, we have a very young team that doesn't have the bodies currently to matchup to UCONN. We need to shoot better from the perimeter if we hope to win some conference games this year but the one thing that I know without any hesitancy is the fact that Trent Johnson is one of the best coaches in the country and having him here will slowly solidify us as a dominant force in the league year in and year out in short time.

this team will be fine. we are limited with bodies but they will get better and alot of guys have been off tonight. In the long run this type of early struggle will be good for us

Yeah, this is a wonderful game thread, full of blind hate comments for the team.
