1) helps save legs
2) Protects ones in foul trouble
3) make them beat us from outside.
but the biggest flaw of a zone..esp. when the other team is shooting long shots...weak side rebounding...it's hard to rebound out of a zone..so we are kidna damned if we do by trying to play man against more athletic team with the kids we haev on the floor..and damned if we don't because of rebounding
