You are claiming that he 'put LSU on the map' which is a claim that is laughably dumb. It negates all other LSU accomplishments through 1999.
You have a problem. But reading an LSU almanac, or a scan of the results of AT LEAST 12 seasons between 1893 and 1997 would cure it.

To spell it out for you, Nick Saban won LSU a title in 2003 that started or turned them into the powerhouse of a program that they are today, and had he remained instead of jumping to the NFL would have most certainly made LSU the dynasty that he would go on to make the Bama goons into. But Les Miles was still able to capitalize off of what he started by winning a title himself that really should have been more than just 1 title. Saban has a lot to do with the modern facilities that they have there now and all, but by all means keep talking about nonsense of the past because you hold a grudge against the man, clown.

Some people are missing the point. Saban is smart and knows that the only way Alabama makes the playoff is beating Auburn. Therefore he has to build Auburn up in the minds of the voters. Which is it LSU was the best and we lost? Or Auburn was the best and we won? Good move on his part.
