Nick Saban is in Baton Rouge, think LK is asking for advice on this situation?

Nick will not say who is right or wrong. But he will say the NCAA screwed up and that these guys should be given year 5.

Nick's response would be "this is why I got out"!

If you have Nick Saban as a resource, you absolutely ask him for his advice. Doesn’t mean you have to take it. I bet he talked to him about this early on in the process (see what I did there?). I doubt they’ve been in constant communication, though. Lane is likely taking counsel from several different people. But the ones who pay his salary are the ones whose voices should ring loudest.

He’s going to play a role in the new rules and any legislation. He will be on Capitol Hill during testimony. You absolutely consult with him.

The same Saban who was handing out car keys to recruits when it was illegal? He would do the same thing LK is doing lmao

Saban said on Pat’s show that Lane shouldn’t add players to his roster. Maybe that was for espn or maybe that is what he believes idk.

Because Saban has a mentor relationship with Lane, and Nick cares about college football. Just a guess though.

shite if Nick was Lane’s age he’d be doing the exact same shite just a lil less bombastically. When was ole Nick Saban known to pass up a not so competitive advantage? That’s what makes these dudes winners.

on Pat McAfee's show yesterday he did say that LSU may win the hearing yesterday, but he'd tread lightly going beyond that. he didn't say much else about it other than if the SEC continues their suits in Federal courts, it may be outcomes LSU doesn't like....not verbatim.

Nick was on ESPN already this week talking about it. Defended Kiffin and blamed the NCAA for allowing it.

Watched a halftime of a game… think Colorado Georgia tech it was like watching crossfire in 2000s with Tucker and Paul on r James….. you can tell when one side throws out stuff and in actuality they both agree but what would a debate show be without opposing view points.

the ones who pay his salary are the ones who will make the decision to play those players. Lane will coach the team..

"LK" is an employee of LSU and LSU has a army of legal consultants at their disposal... So I am guessing this is where he is getting his advice...

It's not just Lane Kiffen! He's got bosses.
