I dont get that at all from Blake.

I will start with Ruffino loves LSU, has great sources, and generally has good takes.

BUT

Watch how he interacts with anyone who disagrees with him on X. There is no debate to be had on ANY front when it comes to Ruffino. He is right and anyone who disagrees is wrong and he will die before he lets anyone else get the last word. To his credit, he generally doesn't resort to name calling but the fact remains that he believes that he is right 100% of the time no matter what.

I once saw an interaction between Ruffino and Preston Guy (Also a smug know it all) and they just kept going on and on and on because neither has ever in their life considered the possiblility that they could be wrong or that more than one opinion can be right. It was just an endless: "Don't call me buddy, guy!" "Don't call me guy, friend!" "Don't call me friend, buddy!"

Its business. They dont owe him a reason for letting him go. Its also not very professional to smear someone like that even if you do have some legit reasons for letting them go. Right now LSU and BK dont need his services. So, just thank him for his time and effort and wish him the best. Period. Thats life.

You’ve been anti LSU for a while. Change your user name and go jump on the Notre Dame bandwagon that you’ve been hopping on lately.

Lol. Why do you think that I am anti LSU? Being in the Superdome for the 2019 national championship was the best day of my life. Is it because I can be critical at times? Are you one of the guys that think s no LSU fan should ever have any negative thoughts about anything LSU related?

This entire thread is a direct shot at Brossette and Stevens saying that they were bad at their jobs.

I said it quite a few times, because of all the pro Notre Dame and anti LSU posts you’ve posted the last month. You haven’t spoken one bad word about Notre Dame and Freeman and have been dick riding them while shitting on LSU. Change your user name and jump ship already.

Lmao you’re mad that I haven’t been shitting on a team that’s in the national championship and want me to praise a team that just went 8-4?

Yeah, he could right here or wrong, no idea. But I can assure you this, any info he is getting is 3rd hand at best. He is the least connected of all of the media podcast types

'I am told there wasn't a SINGLE incident'... Their contracts were not renewed. Budget AND performance related. Doesn't mean their release wasn't expected by them.

I am speaking from experience of being 'ribbed' myself... Reduction in budget but not a contract.

Business leaders have to recognize potential, then coach and set expectations for those individuals. If that happened and they didn’t perform or progress quickly enough then it was a wise move to separate from them.

Weird post on Nick & Jacoby that has offshoots of a flow chart on Ruffino. I like him better than Culotta, Matt & T-Bob. If he has 3rd hand knowledge, the first two must be better than Jordy & Matt because they are rarely correct.

What does playing a sport have to do with how an athletic department is run? A good number of the employees therein didn’t play sports either

My God, the idiots on this site are overwhelming.

He's won two national titles in DIV 2.

He's played in the 2013 BCS national champinoship game, and has also made the playoff twice in 2018 & 2020.

Go ahead and move the goalposts again.
