I was sitting in the next section and it was entertaining to say the least. She quieted down and barely made a peep after put up our big inning and got the lead. Some Nicholls students were sitting near me and said that she does this schtick at every game there

I don't mind good natured heckling at ballgames. That's almost a tradition in baseball dating back decades. If someone is witty, it's pretty damn funny.
But that last night was just obnoxious for the sake of being obnoxious. Nothing more. It wasn't well timed or witty. Literally EVERY pitch (at least while I was listening) elicited some obnoxious commentary. There were some pitches literally bouncing to the catcher or so high the catcher nearly had to jump. Regardless a "what are you looking at!!!! (or something similar) was screamed after every pitch.
Fans next to that person, or even the NSU event staff should have said "STFU!" very early in the game.

We were at the Nicholls game Saturday afternoon vs Houston Christian. She wasn't as terrible as last night.
Best part about Saturday was all of the old Nicholls baseball players riding the umpires. Coddou and some other young guys were having a good time. They all know their names so hearing them yell, "That was an awful call Lee, get some better glasses" and other random shite was fun.

Because I've heard that same stuff yelled at every college game I've ever been too for the last 50 years, from East to West Coast and all over the south. Ump can be damned near perfect and some idiots will still yell about every call. Part of baseball since the beginning.

There was a group of special needs students at nicholls sitting together. Can’t confirm 100% but I believe this was the source of the crowd audio we all heard.
