This is why I don't comment much on basketball since it's a sport I'm not as familiar with. I do watch basketball in the background but like you said it isn't my top interest

Kenpom himself would disagree with this assessment. He would even say a one game sample size from each team is basically meaningless in any judgment.
Kenpom wasn’t my only reasoning. He might disagree with me, and that’s understandable and fine. I can look at his website (and others) and come to a different conclusion.
I thought we would easily win because I am a fan of the transfers we brought in and had faith and optimism we would see improvement this year. If a one sample game sample size is meaningless why is everyone having a meltdown over this one game?

Regardless, I'm not sure how old you are, but you seem to have some knowledge. But only enough to make you dangerous as we'd say in other professions. You have a lot of hard stances that hopefully you realize should be more fluid.
I’m more than old enough to purchase alcohol, and I’ve been watching basketball my whole life. I’m probably among the younger people on this board but at least I have knowledge of basketball and am passionate about the team.
You (and others) may disagree with a lot of what I say and that’s fine, as we’re all entitled to our own opinions, but you yourself said when I first started posting that my passion and energy was refreshing for a younger fan. That passion comes with me being opinionated and argumentative.
At least I care and enter into discussion unlike people who post one negative comment and then leave.

We can talk more outside of in-game discussion. Geaux Tigers!

Because as soon as I say anything slightly positive I get berated by everyone on the thread lmao. Am I not supposed to defend my point of view?
I don’t come in looking to argue but when I’m met with opposition, I’m going to stand my ground.
I feel like my username plays a lot into that. It was originally meant to be a negative one in opposition to McMahon, but I think many view it as a sign of being a McMan. I’m not a McMan, or a Wade fan, I’m an LSU fan. I’m going to support our players and our coach unless they give me a reason not to.
I was negative of many players last year, and I’m negative about McMahon quite frequently. I just wanted to enter the new season with optimism.

Keep posting buddy. It's a free country. Everyone can have their own opinions. Nothing wrong with that

Trae Hannibal should be starting. Mike Williams and Carlos Stewart are not better than him
