There is nothing natural about Ott. He is horrendous on the radio. Horrendous.

I haven't been keeping strict numbers (purely anecdotal observations on my part), but the YouTube viewers for OTB seem to be the same since before Jordy left AND since he's started his own show.
Jordy's show gets more viewers live, but that's its only medium, right? So that's understandable.
OTB is on the airwaves in BR, NOLA, and Alexandria, with tv on CST coming soon.
Not sure where all the claims for its demise is coming from.
Seems like the move is going to be a better spot for Hester for living life (kids and whatnot).

Once Jordy's show has live audio only streaming, OTB will be in trouble. They already have live video on YouTube and Facebook live, plus on demand podcast through all major apps.

I actually enjoy Ott's new show. The Vegas folks he has on are knowledgeable and hearing Ott stress about his bets in real time is pretty damn funny.

I'm aware. How many people use such things to get their sports radio fix on their morning drive?
Are you going to ignore the position that Jordy's show on YouTube doesn't appear to have affected OTB's YouTube viewers as of yet?

Probably most in Nola since 100.3 sucks balls for reception. Everyone around the nation/world that don't live in the radio area. Everyone listening at work that wants to use headphones. I could keep going if I need to.

Really? I guess I've never used it in NOLA proper (North sides near the like and whatnot), but I rarely have issues with that channel starting from LaPlace all the way down past Empire.

I don't have actual recorded data. Just my anecdotal observations of OTB having 180-250 live viewers (YouTube) before Jordy left, and staying within that range since he's started his own show.
Now, Jordy's show does look to have more live viewers than OTB, but that goes back to that being one of the only ways to get the content at the moment.

Audio only uses less data. Didn't need your phone to be open. Many reasons.

except that the show kind of sucks. His cast is pretty lousy and he's basically recycling the same guests OTB still has. Sooooo what's the draw from OTB exactly?

It sounds like Jordy is trying to build his own little network of shows. Who will he add is what I'm wondering. No one would leave their radio job to go with him, so who y'all think he'd go get?

It could actually end up working out in his favor going on his own. He is only 2 weeks in and has over 4k subscribers.
Once he gets YouTube figured out and start using hashtags so more people can find his show.. And then maybe do a podcast so that he can be on different platforms while being able to watch on youtube.. If he gets a good bit of different guest.. He will be in control of his own material, etc.

To be fair, all of OTB’s guest came from Jordy so he already has that connection to them. Hester and Hannigriff never felt like a good fit especially for three hours. Hester and T-Bob feel more natural to me. Hannigriff and Ott was always natural and I wonder if they bring Ott back to noon or who the new cohost will be.
