The makeup of this team is actually pretty stout.

The number one strength we will have is that O line and rb stable. It's absolutely filthy.

The defense will have a LOT of time to rest. I assume Kelly will gear it towards ball control and fit the strengths while Nuss gels.

And I'm not worried about the DC hire. Kelly will nail it.

Defense will need to be much, much better bc the offense will not be able to score at will like this year.

DC hire and portal pickups will determine how far we’ll go.

Don't think we'll need it to. I'm calling it now , top 10 rushing attack on the nation EASILY.

Low scoring affairs with a well rested defense is how LSU wins in 2024.

I was really impressed how this team fought till the very end. There have been so many teams after a bama loss with no more championships on the line just coast the rest of the year.

There's a lot Kelly has to fix, replace or reload. I have some concern at WR. We will lose the TD Twins in Nabors/Thomas Jr and only Hilton Jr and Anderson have played with a few catches. Some kids have to step up or bring in someone from the portal that is very talented. Not a #7 from Texas Tech.

That’s a testament to Coach Kelly. He’s done a great job thus from where we were two years ago, and he’s taking this program back to where it belongs.

I think the further away we get from the Ed O era, the tougher an out we'll be. Kelly's gotta have all 85 of his own guys in here who are bought into the system and understand what it means to have a winning culture.

Tough schedule, will absolutely be a challenge. However, just gotta be in that 12, and next years team will be totally different. Coaching changes and transfer portal can totally change this program in a few months.

Kyren Lacy coming back, most likely.

If he can correct the drops, I think he would become a 1st rd pick. He's a big, physical dude- has 25 lbs on Hilton if the profiles are accurate.

He's clearly a candidate for the Summer of 10,000 Catches program.

Would we take Jack Bech back if he tries to transfer back to LSU from TCU?

If they can't establish a passing game, it will be like the Les Days of old. Toss pitch right, toss pitch left, 3rd an long etc. Need Nuss to be able to throw for mininum 250 a game or it will be 8 in the box and we don't have any proven WR threats. They better practice every day in the summer getting off the line and making contested catches.

I’m not counting on next year for us to be much more than we are this year. Insane amount of production to replace on offense and a completely new defensive staff with a new scheme and depth issues in key positions again.

Next year will have to be an A+ effort from all coaches.

I think Jayden’s Heisman campaign is a big reason for why players stayed locked in.

We don’t have strong DBs and our recruiting class is very weak for DBs.

Passing defense will be among the bottom in the SEC and the country again.
