If he plays next year that would be great if not JD can handle it for another year. The most important thing for LSU is making sure they don’t mess the kid up. Let the kid grow because arm talent like that doesn’t grow on trees. His ceiling seems really high.

It’s about Brian Kelly.

It’s his team.

He’s the guy.

Next year, like every year, should be about the team.

Next year is about playing the player that makes you the best team. If it's Nuss, that means he got a lot better this offseason, because as things stand right now, Daniels is a better QB.

Hate to break it to you but Daniels is entrenched as QB1

LSU finally develops a guy and people are worried about Howard. I wanna see Nuss turn the corner like JB. Don’t rush the kid.

People saying JD is a lock next year could not be more wrong. If Nuss stays on his trajectory he will start. Spring is going to be very interesting.

I am saying it now. I think Nuss stays even as QB2 next year. Then in 2024 he is the starting QB at LSU and we win the NC. Proving all good things come to those who wait.

I think you’re reading my post wrong. Daniel’s has earned his starting starting job. Nuss has gotten better every year and didn’t run from not being the starter. Kid is made of the good stuff and after Daniel’s he will be a good one whether he starts next year or not. Everyone can see he has the tools.

Kelly made a big mistake in the bowl postgame presser saying it was Jayden’s job. Should have said they would have an open competition in the spring, and best player will start

Minus ball security, but yes the arm talent is Unquestionably unique. But this team rides and dies with its MVP

You are correct and that’s the problem.

I think Daniels gave this team the best chance to win. I don’t think he’s a better QB.

Next year is about playing the best players who will give you the best chance to win a championship that season.

This isn't the NFL where you can build for a couple years, develop young guys who you know can't leave, all while picking high draft picks.

Having a bad season in college isn't going to guarantee you the best high school recruits. In fact, I would say it's the opposite.

It's about the maturation of the OL. We needed JD's mobility this year. Next year? Not as much. Year after next. Rock solid and Nuss will eat.
