In Joe Alleva's letter he says he will announce a surprise for next season's home opener... has anyone heard anything?

haha that would be cool, but wouldnt it be awesome if we hosted USC?? Since they are banned from post-season I bet they are looking to beef up their schedule

Oregon. An Oregon paper had a story about this a few weeks ago, some of their fans have been pretty sure of it.

It's going to be Oregon in Arlington, leaving us with 6 games in Tiger Stadium. Yay.

honestly, I'm fine with sacrificing a home game against southeastern for the opportunity to play in the premier stadium in the nation against a perennial power in a region in which we recruit heavily...there is a huge lsu contingency in the dallas/fort worth area and it will be a treat for them...and, we don't have to shell out $700k to pound a cupcake....perhaps the national exposure between 2 power programs would be the greatest benefit that comes from the match-up...bottom line, the money we would lose by giving up a game at tiger stadium would be well worth the benefits gained
