Toonces got too much hate.

It's funny, I was thinking that as well. Maybe a spoof, something like the db's getting burned.

And they all looked bad.
Clearly some graphic design company was able to convince dozens of schools that style of logo design was the "new wave". It sucked then, and it sucks 20 years later. Even in an era were "retro" logos are in very few people want to buy merch with that garbage logo on it.

I am going to have to disagree. And I saw plenty of Toonces apparel back in that time period flying off the shelves. I still have and wear a lot of my Toonces gear. It's not classic round tiger head, but it's still LSU.
