Why can't people like you understand the players on both teams heard the boos and believed it was Jennings being booed??
It's one thing to understand that and another to know what the reality was. I don't condone booing Jennings. It's stupid. But just because I boo doesn't meaning I'm booing a player or how they play.

I have never so many posters pissed after a dominating win.

a lot of the coach is always right posters always say the nega-tigers aren't happy even with big wins. This morning proves that they aren't happy with big wins either.

Why should people be ashamed. The fans pay a price and have a certain expectation level. If players and coaches don't perform, they deserve to know they aren't meeting these expectations. Business 101.

Maybe you should move back to Russia. I hear they don't like booing (or any other forms of discontent) at all over there either.

It's not the fans business to let the players know. That's the coaches' place. The coaches' performance though... you know, the people who get paid well over 6 figures... yeah, we can compare that to business and the fans can let them know how they feel.

They did, by booing the coaching staff. At least that's how the idiots justify it.

It's also ridiculous to think a guy that gets paid 6 figures is going to make coaching decisions based on the boos of a bunch of drunk fans.

then it becomes a question of how do you let them know how you feel? miles and staff got pelted left and right by criticism all week and he ran his head into the wall again last night. When teams have expectations and they are falling short of them frustration will set in and boos will come down. You clearly can't direct a boo. Maybe the fans should switch to chants instead of boos that way the right person gets hit by the criticism.

Every fan base known to mankind has had a percentage of the folks boo consistently repetitive failing results. Get over it. I don't personally boo though...I just drink more heavily

Of course it is. I'm not saying he should. What a terrible coach that would be.

Don't go to the game. Or if you're there, just be silent. Silence is a very effective way to show displeasure at a sporting event.

It would still be misinterpreted. Chants for Harris would seem directed at Jennings. Chants for Sciambra would seem directed at delahoussaye

It's the only thread I see on this board which gives the perspective of the booing of Jennings by an opposing player.

I'm sorry if that logical distinction is lost on you.

And why were they booing Miles? Jennings.

Booing your own team is trashy. I was embarrassed last night.

I disagree. Silence or absence can be taken for just being lethargic or apathetic. Our fans are criticized enough for that already.

No, they are thrilled with last night's win because it gives them a chance to bitch and moan. Negatigers (and really, let's just call them what they are...Miles Haters) thrive on being, well, negative. Last night was nirvana for them, because it confirmed a number of long-held beliefs they have about Les Miles:

1. Les Miles is stubborn
2. Les Miles hates good quarterbacks
3. Les Miles does not play superior talent (especially at quarterback) because he insists on playing the older player
4. Les Miles does not play superior talent (especially at quarterback) because he is too loyal to players he likes more
5. Les Miles interferes with the OC's job too much

When Harris becomes the starter and plays well, they will not admit that maybe the coaching staff planned all along to bring him on slowly and eventually take over for AJ. No, they will insist that the only reason Harris is playing is that they forced Miles to play him by booing AJ.

Then they'll head back to wherever it is they hide out when things are going to well for them to bitch, and we won't hear from them until LSU loses...and they'll be back in droves again.

Should Harris have been put in sooner? Yes. But some of the comments made about Miles' intentions toward Harris and 'loyalty' to AJ are asinine.

100 threads on booing instead of talking about how some of our players did great last night is far worse to me than anyone booing.
