I'm still here.. I talked to the guy on the phone at work and he says they're doing something different to the helmet... the picture in the OP looks like a helmet decal to me so I wouldn't be surprised if it was the tiger eye on the helmet... I'm not 100% sure though, he seemed kind of tight lipped about the whole situation... maybe that's why players haven't posted anything about it on twitter or Facebook

Big deal. For those of us stuck watching the game on Tigervision, if the picture clarity is still the same, we will be lucky to be able to make out the f'ing colors on the uniforms...

Why the hell would they do something like this for Idaho?!? On tiger vision?
Why not wait til South Carolina, or Ole Miss, or Mississippi State? Or a game that is, you know, actually televised?
And - I agree with the poster above - those watching on tiger vision, good luck seeing anything in craptacular early 1990s SD.

I've never seen grown men freak the frick out over uni designs. Grow up. Remember, it's not about YOU. I know alot of you seem to forget that these guys on the team are still kids. I'm sure they don't mind a one game change.

It's not about me.
But it also shouldn't be about Nike's ego either. Everything Nike does to uniforms is an abortion and somebody needs to have the balls to tell them no. Nike money isn't worth it at some point.

and for the people asking 'why don't they do this for a bigger game?', my line of thinking is that they are doing this to give the players something to get excited about because lining up across from a team like idaho isn't the most motivating thing in the world...

everything??? i mean come on man, really?
some of the uniforms are a little too over the top, but some of them were actually pretty nice... Boise State (the white helmet with the big bronco on one side), TCU, West Virginia, LSU's unis last year, Georgia, Florida, are some that come to mind... i'm sure there are more too

Well... Somebody is just gonna have to break into the equipment building and get some hard evidence to ease all of our minds. Kickoff is a whole 9 hours away. Too long to wait.
