No. No we won't. It's a controlled scrimmage. Not like a game at all. We'll see in September.

Him and Jennings both seem like great guys, lets just hope they both improve.

He missed A LOT more than 1 pass.. You either weren't watching the same thing or you don't know what a bad pass looks like. He missed the halfback on those swing passes alone at least 3 or 4 times. Stared down every receiver he threw to also. I wanted him to be the starter as much as anyone but from what I saw today the coaching staff had it right last fall. Jennings just looked better and took better command of the offense. Several times receivers had to come up and ask Harris to repeat the calls because he wasn't loud enough.

I'm pragmatic; after seeing Jennings continue from the spring game to ND with modest at best improvement, I realized that he wouldn't lead us there.

I'm confident that your realization comes as a result of you many years of coaching big time football.

Also, I appreciate you trying to bait me into hating one of our players, what a great fan you are!

I just asked how invested you are in one player. Apparently you are. I'm curious as to how deep the investment is.

Eh, I'll bite, this is some high quality bait.

Only a fool cannot realize that Harris has more natural talent than Jennings; He's faster, Smarter, and has a cannon for an arm. Please debate this. I dare you.

Les hates the QB position, and to be qualified to play this (AKA start or play often ) he wants a few things:

1)Don't frick it all up
2)Don't throw a pick
3)Don't do it all on your own

If Harris seizes the job, that most means one of two possible things. I will list them since you don't seem to understand cause/effect:

1)He passes at the least 2/3 of the previous conditions
2)His talent greatly outweighs the risk (AKA Auburn last year)
3)Jennings is hurt

Is this a coherent train of thought? You think I have a personal rooted interest in Harris and I don't. I like him, seems like a great kid. What I want is a quarterback who doesn't throw to Dural in triple coverage, doesn't throw slower than my daughter, but does complete greater than 50% of his passes. AJ demonstrated last year that he couldn't do that in 3 situations where Harris could: Spring Game, Miss ST, NMST. Even Harris scored more points at Auburn.

Under the same conditions Harris did better. Why in God's name is this so hard to comprehend. If McMillan came and was the second coming of Jameis Winston, and was adequate statistically, I'd embrace him. I have nothing that makes me believe that Jennings can accomplish any more than he has other than some rantards saying "No QB hasn't improved!!1111". I was on the endzone on the home side and watched him throw the TD against Arky. Then I made excuses for him v Iowa. He has continually fallen below mine--and apparently Les', and every member of the media's--expectations.

How many practices have you attended since both have been on campus?
What are your qualifications for judging quarterbacks?
How many team/position meetings have you attended?
How often have you quizzed each of the guys to ascertain how intelligent each is?
In short how do you know better than the coaching staff which player gives LSU a better chance to win?

Until you have given me some evidence that you actually know what you are talking about, I'm afraid that all of your repeating the same old beer talk will only serve to prove that in truth you don't know a damn thing.

Thanks for playing.

How do you know he is smarter? You check their report cards or you going on the fact that Harris couldn't even call the rt plays out of the rt formations?

I think its hilarious that hate for jennings is enough for our fanbase to believe brandon harris is good. Jennings is clearly the leader of the team and he will start. Get over it.

Dude just watch the fricking spring game, and see what happens. Every time you think Jennings is on the edge of becoming mediocre he stabs us all in the heart with sacks, ints you name it. Because you obviously don't know football. Wait until the pads come on and he gets timid In the pocket and takes unnesscary sacks. Say you haven't heard that before.

The facts are that Jennings isn't giving the starting job up without a fight and Harris doesn't have the fight to take the job from Jennings. It just is not coming together for Harris. He's got all the talent in the world but we saw what talent without the rest looks like in the auburn game.

I wish Harris would beat out Jennings because that would mean he's pretty good but if he can't stand out from Jennings then that tells me all I need to know.

Stopped reading right there. How many times when Harris played last year was there a botched play or time out called because of a wrong formation? Even the KID has admitted he didn't know the offense last year over and over. Same bull shite water cooler gossip that 3/4 of the harris vs Jennings talk is. I've played the position and coached it. Last year after the New Mexico St game I stated on this board that even though he lit it up Harris wasn't ready. That Jennings would be starting. Needless to say I got raped in the arse on here yet I was spot on. This spring and Harris's own words proves it even more. So here's my opinion.

Jennings peak is around a mid level SEC QB. Harris's peak is a top tier SEC QB. This is talent wise. But for all you tigers droppings football coaches that doesn't mean shite. If you're not a leader nor learn the playbook or reads you cannot see the field no matter if youre Tom Brady talent wise.

Also believe it or not something that is rarely stated on this board is we had one returning WR last year. That is a huge deal and will hurt any QB....something else that has been stated by the players themselves.
