What is all of the shite about them dominating the game? I realize the majority of the people on that page are teenage girls, but seriously, do Tennessee fans honestly think they dominated the stats? The way I see it, Tennessee was fortunate to even be in the position to frick the game up.

the refs "technically" didn't call PI on the potential TD pass that was intercepted, but could've under the letter of the law.
you might have a better point if someone were running off the field but they had 13 people lined up. of course that can affect the play of the O. and as pointed out, check the replay--LSU was set with only 11.

"UT also had players throwing helmets off and Im pretty sure its illegal for players to run on the field waving a flag inbetween plays as well. I was at the game and saw it all unfold. If LSU deserved a personal foul for the helmet, UT did as well since they did the same thing."

Correct me if I am wrong, but suppose the refs did call a.penalty for a player throwing his helmet, in whichcase would you not have offsetting penalties AND REPLAY THE DOWN?

I don't understand what they're complaining about. Illegal participation isn't a subjective penalty, it's cut and dry that it's a penalty when you have more than 11 players.
And for all of them calling for some kind of penalty on LSU, guess what idiots, that would have resulted in offsetting penalties, thus replaying 3rd down.

I dont get how everyone is saying the LSU guy threw his helmet when right behind him a Tennessee guy slammed his helmet on the ground also... I swear it drives me insane

Many penalties have nothing to do with the outcome of the play. This is a silly argument.
LSU won the game fair and square, according to the rules, no technicality need be invoked. The LSU coaching staff cannot possibly answer the questions that should be asked adequately, but that does not change the fact that they won the game. Period.
