Anybody remember the Front row Lunatics back in the day? I believe most were there when I was at LSU from 1979 thru 1983. My buddies and I usually got down to about the 5th row for each game and the Front Row Lunatics usually kept the student section and the whole PMAC fired up for that matter. Also had the cream of the crop LSU basketball teams for most of those years also with the exception of the Shaq and Chris Jackson years and the one or two good years under Brady.

Why does everything have to have a name or label? Geez. It's so forced and contrived that it just sounds ridiculous. How about just waiting for a decent product to hit the floor, for students actually show up, then letting nature run it's course? Marketing people suck. And just wait...before long, this bad boy will have a sponsor and it will be something ghey like "roar corps presented by raisin' canes"

I know it will never happen, but I always thought "Pruple Haze" would be a perfect name for the basketball student section.
