"So in the mean time why dont they cover that shite with something? They could put down purple and gold banners for all I care"
-------------------------------------------------
"Well, since they haven't opened the new Alex Box yet, I can't say whether they will or won't. We'll all find out soon enough. And even though they may not have anything on opening day, doesn't mean they won't in the future. That would not seem to be a priority at this point. Getting the parking lots, perimeter fencing and other opening necessities completed are the priority.
Either way, if LSU wins another CWS in the next couple of years, I am betting there will be enough demand for more suites and that space will be filled."
-------------------------------------------------
Knowing the LSUAD, I bet they won't do anything to cover up anything that's not "finished" on opening day.(such as the space you're talking about) They'll just leave it like that. It's all about CLASS and PRIDE. Doesn't matter if it's only "cosmetic" shite. For an example, just walk around Tiger Stadium and look at all the "cosmetic" eyesores. They don't bother to correct any of that, so why would it be any different at the new AB..........

Why did they not overseed the field with rye grass? The bermuda is dormant and looks like shite. Even high schools put rye out! Was the sod not put out soon enough? What gives with that? Other than that, facility looks amazing. What a great recruiting tool that stadium will be!

Bermuda Sod really doesn't take very well until spring time. I just went over this with our landscapers on my project (we will be planting ours around spring time next year) he said that it's brown until spring/summer time almost looks dead.

LSU is not giving you the correct information, I am! It is public information with the state record room> They are finishing early you RETARD, get your facts straight.

The Bermuda is in. They planted it early enough. But if there is no rye which I think there is they probally planted that too late. I was thinking the grass was very yellow for this time of year. Which means the rye is not enough or not any good.

So Im to trust some dumb frick on the web over say the fricking university AND the general contractor in charge.. Cause you know the contractors just LOVE advertising the wrong completion date on their WEBSITE THAT I POSTED HERE!
Lets see I provided a link to the general contractor where is your link? If they are wrong then they are pretty fricking incompetent as it is considered its their OWN website.

I don't know why people are so convinced it won't be ready. The opening is in 3 weeks and it looks like most of the remaining work to be done is of an aesthetic nature.
