Well someone finally gets it !! new is not always better .
there is so much lost in the B.S. of "New". I miss the old Tiger Stadium.
We are on our way to be just another team that plays division one sports.

It's all about the history. Right now the new box doesn't have it. New one is a better facility but lacks the mystique/memories we all had there. A dynasty was built there. In time the newer generations will feel the same about the new box as we do about the old.

I think it would be hard to argue against this....and the new box is a better complex with better amenitites, seating, etc (terrible traffic though)....I think people just have a special place for the Old Box I know I do....probably pretty stupid but I think that is where a lot of these responses are coming from.
