wow, you really missed the point!

Brings up a guy that signed as an Undrafted Free agent, has yet to play a down. Might want that one to play out, first. No one is saying an Undrafted player can't make it, happens all the time. Just declaring Early is surprising when your not being graded in top 4 rounds. Maybe 1 more year would have gotten him better prepared, drafted, better contract with a guarantee and possible longevity in the league. Time will tell, wish him the best.

“ six and two”

Who knew that 3rd in the West and 4th in the SEC during a yr that saw SEC coaches fired right and left was gong to be so special for LSU football.

“ right the ship in a big way”

LSU started the season at 3-2 and ended the season at 3-2 while scoring 27 pts a game.

While it was a nice comeback from what could’ve been a disaster iseason, on the whole it was nothing special. imo

It’s amazing how much the goal post have moved in the last couple years.

Yeah I agree. Like Key saying this is a business not a family. What I'm saying is there's defined leadership on this team who want to win (not just get drafted) and you can see it.

Yeah maybe his head coach could have done a better job to convince him to stick around for his senior year, in light of the depth issues at the position.

I think that's a bit unfair Dave. Juniors leaving before they should is a problem all over college football. It seems every year the number of juniors that enter the draft and go undrafted grows.

I don't know why but this thread made me remember a Lester Miles classic:

Enjoy!

Goal post moved? Really? Les hadn't been 6-2 since 2012

I would Say yes, you’ve moved the goal posts.

We used to just a coach by all 13 games played in a season. Not just what’s statistically impressive.

We went 9-4. We did better than that in. 2015, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2007, 2006 And 2005.

Pretending 9-4 is impressive in any way is moving goalposts.

You should ask for a raise commensurate with a 500 post a month post rate. I'm thinking you're underpaid for the job you're doing...

It's a problem at every school with quality players. But, yes, it seemed that no one lossed more juniors to the draft than Les. As great of a recruiter that Orgeron is, I don't think he has much that he can say to kids to get them to stay if they want to go.

. Look what they did after Bama last year. Destroyed Arkansas, Tennessee and Aggy. That wasn't always the case the last few years with Les.

This is a great point.
