It's entirely dependent on the lines ability to block long enough to allow him a shot at getting out of the backfield. Alabama has stopped Fournette because they get to him before he ever gets started. This negates his ability to do anything.

When the opponent knows he is going to get the ball they can shoot the gaps and get after him. If LSU can stay balanced then they can't do that.

For his pro prospects, this is a defining game. It is probably the best defense he will play this year. If he can perform well then it will solidify his draft spot in the top 3 if not number 1.

He needs to not only put up the numbers, he needs to keep his emotions in check! All business next week!

Over, there is no way LF7 is held in check 2 years in a row. I just don't see that being possible

There is little doubt that he has the ability to run for 100 yds. against any team in college football. The question is, can our OL have the ability to stop the Bama penetration enough for him to at least reach the line of scrimmage before being hit by one, two, or three defenders.

Let's be optimistic. I am going with 101 yds rushing with one TD.

I think the Bama Defensive Front is going to be all over LF. Especially after what he did to Ole Miss. Saban is going to have those guys ready. What would really be impressive is if our new coaching staff used that against them. Use LF as a decoy instead of what we did last year and keep trying to force LF down their throats. We need to get them off balance first then let LF bust their asses. The great thing about him is he can take it to the house on any play from anywhere on the field. This game could be the true shining moment for LF on a career that already has a bunch of great moments.

140 + 2 HB option passes for TDs on back-to-back series.

Both to Chark.

Saban has seizure on sidelines after 2nd one.

At 100, give or take about 10. Throw in a touchdown, maybe a second. One to Guice, about two to the receivers. We'll spread the ball.
