Right now, I would much rather have Myles’ deep ball and big play passes than the extra 20-50 yards rushing you are banking on.

So you'd rather the worst defense in the history of modern LSU football be on the field more due to the offense not executing on the short to mid yardage plays (third downs) just to see more big plays?

Brennan has looked great, he just had a putrid defense that somehow marginally improved in the bye week

Did the defense cause him to go 0-10 on 3rd down?

What about first and goal from the 1? Did the defense cause that?

I dont recall them calling any runs for him like they did for Finley

The keep and run versus pull and pass or whatever technical term that was with Burrow keeping and running. I saw Brennan run around the end a few times like he had the ball, but had handed it off.

We rushed for 270 YARDS last night!!! The other 3 games we rushed for 290 total; 160 at Vandy. What don’t you people understand about that! That’s on play calling and the OL doing their job. When you run the ball you will be better on 3rd down. You can’t keep comparing the performances because it was different situations

You have seen Brennan's ceiling, it is the upside, physical strength, strong arm, and his decision making as true freshman that is exiting.

We haven't seen Brennan play with a run game, receivers that caught everything, competent offensive line, and a decent defense yet.

All things Finley had the benefit of.

When your QB doesn't get sacked and hits all of his quick short passes it opens up the run game.

I wonder if the play calling with Myles has avoided short slants, RPOs, short middle
Work because It’s not his strength? He’s definitely gotten better since State, but he still comes off as indecisive/throws the ball late & tries to rocket it in which can lead to tipped balls/overthrows in the contested short middle & therefore easy TO’s.

I don’t disagree with anyone harping that the playcalling was much better for TJ, but I’m not sure it’s not due to TJ’s touch/poise/decisiveness opening up our playbook to some areas Myles does not.

Image if we made a call on Burrow’s “ceiling” after three games.

LSU focused on establishing the run game last night.

It wasn't some accident due to circumstances.

The whole team played Alot better. Why do so many want to start a controversy at QB ? I think there's Alot of saban plants stirring shite, or children that don't know better. We have great looking QBs leave it at that. But on a different subject... Sc was taking Alot of cheap shots especially in the first half. Knees to QBs head ect. Was pissing me off I tell ya ??

We are in good shape at qb. Brennan is the starter, tj can step up and play if needed. Recruits can now see that 3 QBs have played well in this system
yup, agreed 100%.

Can't be happier for TJ. The future is bright. I look forward to him and Max fighting it out in the spring.

And Brennan QUICKLY fixed some of his flaws from the MSST game and has been very very impressive. If they introduce the RPO to his play it will improve the offense overall and that's already pretty damn good.

Most impressive is the coaching staff. To have Brennan that prepared to have the best first starts of any LSU QB in history AND to have the freshman TJ that ready says alot about the staff.

Kudos all the way around. Hopefully Brennan heals and is 100% quickly. In the meantime until he's ready to go we are in good hands with TJ thanks to the staff.
